And then there were seven......

Six boy chicks and one girl chick has been enjoying their new home today. The children helped prepare the brooder box and have enjoyed making them feel at home.

Three little chicks

Today was an absolutely incredible day in our Reception classroom as the children saw three little chicks being born. I have posted our firstborn chick who the children have unanimously named him "Bob" and the second called "Ted."

Special Delivery

Today was a very exciting day in Reception as our ten little eggs were delivered to our Reception classroom. They are all cosy inside the incubator and the children enjoyed writing about the eggs arrival. It is amazing to see how confident they are becoming in using their phonic knowledge to write words and sentences.

Glorious sunshine

it was nice to have our afternoon snack outdoors for the first time since we started in Reception. Hopefully the better weather is here to stay.

Happy Mother's Day

We hope all of our lovely mummies enjoyed thier special cards and personal messages. I was so proud of the kind thoughts that they decided to write about and their perseverance with their writing skills. Happy Mother's Day!
