Shadow investigation

Our shadows have been stealing the limelight this week! Can you guess who the shadows belong to?

Week 2

Our classroom has felt a bit chilly this week as our Arctic pictures came to life. Cold colours and blending have created an icy scene for a polar bear.

Week One!

Year Three had to put their thinking caps on to build a house from any resources in our classroom. We discovered that there are many different types of houses that can be built, but that it takes lots of different special things and people to make it a home!

Our trip to the Lookout Discovery Centre

What a fantastic experience we had on Wednesday at The Lookout Discovery Centre! All the children in year 3 had a fun filled experience from the moment they arrived.

We were keen to find out about how our bodies work as this is currently our science theme. In the morning we enjoyed a show 'The body inside out' where we learnt about our bones and organs and how we compare to other animals. Violet dressed up as Dr. Violet and checked the children's heartbeats!

There were also many other science investigations for us to have a go at and talk about.
