Prayer & Liturgy
We place Christ at the centre of all that we do in our School and our Collective Worships and Liturgies are a way of developing our children to get to know Jesus better. We gather either as a whole school, in buddy year groups or in our individual classes to listen to the Word (scripture), spend time in prayer and reflecting upon God’s Word and going forth and taking that mission to help and support others.
Collective Worship at St Cuthbert’s happens every day and are led by staff and children, providing an opportunity for all children to develop socially, morally and spiritually. We join in a range of worship forms, formal and informal, including Celebration Liturgy, Prayer through Song and Spiritual Journaling.
