Our Sponsored Walk

Yesterday Key Stage 1 all joined together for our sponsored walk to raise money for the children of Gambella. I was so proud to see the children who all walked 15 laps of our school field which is the equivalent of 3 miles. I'm sure there were some tired children at home last night. Well done Key Stage 1!

Our Dojo winner

Well done Martha for winning our class dojo this week! Keep up all the hard work!

It was so special to see some of the children in Reception writing their friends kind messages. What fantastic role models they are for our school!

The wonderful world

Today in RE we have been learning about the wonderful world we share in. We have been talking about what is good in our world and about sharing it with others. It was great to see the boys and girls share their fair trade food and talk through how we can share with others in the world and ensure they get paid for their hard work. Maybe when you are out shopping you can encourage them to find foods that have the fair trade symbol?
