A Little Princess

It is safe to say all EYFS thoroughly enjoyed our theatre production today. It was lovely to see them smiling, singing and joining in with a few familiar songs. Such a great anti-bullying production that was accessible for all children. Maybe tonight you can ask your child what their favourite part was?

Reading Buddies

Today we enjoyed having our Year Six reading buddies visit our Reception classroom. It was lovely to see the excitement of the little ones listening to the big boys and girls read to them. It is lovely to see our children work together and share their love of reading.

Reading tent

It has been lovely to see our boys enjoying using our reading tent to explore our books. The relaxing area makes it an enjoyable place to explore the story world and talk through the pictures they see in our books with their friends.

Exciting delivery.....

One of my favourite things about being a Reception teacher is seeing how each year brings thirty gorgeous children into the same learning environment. It is incredible to adapt and change the classroom in order to meet the learning needs of your children. Today we had a very exciting delivery of a brand new water tray for our indoor classroom. We enjoyed stamping, poking and popping all the bubble wrap before setting up our water tray.

Today the children in Reception have enjoyed using our Dazzling Design table to create a range of new robots. It was fantastic to see the turn taking and kindness as they shared resources. Hopefully their models managed to make it home in one piece!
