Love and care

In today's RE lesson we remembered that God teaches us to stop worrying about silly things like who is first in the queue, and worry more about being kind, loving and caring. Some children made a collage of all the things we should be grateful for.

How have I changed?

We have loved the start of our new topic, 'Change In Me', looking at how we have changed over the years. The children found creative ways of making timelines in our Topic lesson. Mac says that when we get old our job is to give people lots of sweeties! We loved looking at the children's photos of when they were younger - we played a game, guessing who the photos were of! These helped us see how we have changed so much over the years.

Jack and the Beanstalk

The children were given a clue to guess what our Fairytale story will be our focus for English lessons. They followed the magic beans to a golden egg. Can you guess what our story focus will be?!

Year One loved their first Computing lesson today!

Week 1

It has been lovely to see Year One settle back into routines confidently and most importantly, with big smiles on their faces! We have been practising number formation and writing our own number sentences in Maths. This afternoon the mud kitchen reopened for business, with lots of yummy concoctions being made!
