year 3's blog

Today in Year 3, we had a lovely circle time talking about what bullying is, but more importantly how we can try to stand up to it. We talked about the power of friendship and how we can stomp out bullying by being fantastic friends to each other.

Year 3 had a busy morning enjoying our new story, 'The Tin Forest'. We started adding Pie Corbett actions to the words in partners.

We've had a lovely afternoon of drawing, painting and using collage to create some artwork ready for our assembly. We hope you'll enjoy seeing them soon.

Shadows, Shadows everywhere!

Year 3 had a lovely afternoon investigating shadows with torches. Our aim was to find the best material to make a shadow puppet out of. Opaque came out the clear winner although which opaque material to use was up for debate.
